At Mister O1 in Wynwood, start with the Marco and add prosciutto. Arugula, fresh tomatoes, Parmesan and stracciatella already give the pizza a full set of toppings; the cured ham adds another reason to pick up a slice before reaching for anything else on the menu.
The address is 2315 North Miami Avenue. Mister O1 has grown well beyond this neighborhood, but the Wynwood branch is the stop to save for this order. It makes a convenient pizza meal when you are already spending time in the area and want to sit down rather than assemble lunch from several places.
The pizza to choose
Marco first, prosciutto added
The Marco combines a tomato-sauce base with fresh burrata stracciatella, arugula, fresh tomatoes and Italian Parmesan. Prosciutto is an addition to that recipe, so include it when you place the order if this is the version you want.
The toppings give you several reasons to choose it: leafy arugula, pieces of tomato, soft cheese and broad Parmesan shavings, with folds of ham over the top. Each component remains distinct rather than disappearing beneath a layer of melted cheese.
Order the Marco as it comes if you want to keep the focus on the cheese and vegetables. Add prosciutto if cured ham is part of the appeal. That small instruction is worth remembering: asking for a Marco alone will not automatically produce the pizza with ham.

Behind the base
A thin crust, with time behind it
Chef Renato Viola built Mister O1 around thin-crust pizza and a dough that rests for at least 72 hours. The Marco is a good way into that style because the dough remains the base for a generous arrangement of toppings, without becoming a thick bread course of its own.
The name refers to the O-1 visa for extraordinary ability, a detail connected to Viola’s route to the United States. You don’t need the backstory to choose lunch, but it explains the otherwise unusual name above the door.
Mister O1’s star-shaped pizzas offer another route through the menu. For this visit, keep the Marco at the center of the order. A round pizza with stracciatella and prosciutto gives you plenty to remember without adding another specialty simply for its shape.
Make Wynwood the stop
The Wynwood restaurant takes walk-ins, so plan around that rather than searching for a reservation. If you order takeaway, follow the restaurant’s instruction to add the separately packed stracciatella fresh to the pizza.
For a different Miami pizza day, try La Farándula’s chorizo and Hawaiian combination. Keep the two orders separate in your notes: Marco with added prosciutto here, chorizo with browned cheese to the edge there.
Save Mister O1’s Wynwood branch in Plateback, along with that prosciutto addition. It is exactly the sort of detail that is easy to forget when the next pizza craving arrives.
