Go to Evelia prepared to spend a little more on dinner—and prepared to leave room for a very large glass of tiramisu. This Núñez restaurant sits at the more expensive end of our Buenos Aires pasta picks, with dishes whose quality makes the higher bill feel justified.
Our order starts with agnolotti de carne or lasagna. One brings filled pasta with Parmesan cream and cooking juices; the other keeps the decision firmly in bolognese territory. Both are reasons to give the meal an evening of its own. And if you’re sitting opposite someone who is happy to share, you can postpone choosing a favorite until you’ve tried both.
Our first recommendation
The agnolotti make a strong opening case
The agnolotti de carne are the dish we’d lead with at Evelia. The combination brings meat-filled pasta together with Parmesan cream and a 24-hour cooking jus, giving you a focused reason to choose it when you want filled pasta to be the center of dinner.
The plate has a distinctive look: small parcels set among pale cream and a generous scattering of fine crumbs. It has enough detail to hold your attention without needing a crowded list of accompaniments. For a first visit, this is a good place to start working out what you like about the kitchen.
Our recommendation is straightforward: order the agnolotti if you’re coming specifically for filled pasta. If the person across from you chooses lasagna, ask for a forkful. You’ll have two quite different versions of a pasta dinner to compare, and a better idea of where to begin on the return visit.
The other main course to keep in mind
Make room for the bolognese
The lasagna bolognese is our other clear recommendation. It arrives as a tall portion with visible layers, a browned surface, grated cheese and basil. It makes a good choice when you want the familiarity of lasagna and are happy to make dinner a little more of an occasion.
There’s an easy order for two here: one agnolotti, one lasagna, and a willingness to share. It gives each person a main course to settle into while leaving room to compare the filled pasta with the layered dish. You don’t need to order widely across the menu to get a satisfying sense of the restaurant.
That’s also the way we’d approach the higher price point. Choose the dishes you most want to eat, give them time, and keep dessert in the plan from the beginning. Evelia is a place we’d choose when we’re willing to spend more on the meal and want the pasta to carry the evening.

Across the pasta menu
Give the table a little variety
The pasta selection also includes maccheroni alla carbonara, a useful alternative for someone who wants an unfilled pasta. Its short tubes bring a different shape to the table from the agnolotti and lasagna. Our first recommendations remain those two dishes, but there’s room for a third direction when you’re dining with more people.
Bread and butter make a familiar beginning while you decide. The meal doesn’t need a long sequence of extras: a little bread, the pastas you came for, then dessert is a perfectly good way to give the kitchen your attention.
When planning a dinner as a pair, keep the order manageable. The tiramisu is generous enough to share, and it’s worth reaching that point with some appetite left.
Two spoons, one glass
Order the tiramisu together
The tiramisu deserves to be part of your dinner plan from the start. It comes in a large glass, with cream and cake layered under cocoa, and it’s big enough to share. Bring a second spoon into the decision early.
Evelia makes its version with Marsala. The presentation gives dessert a little ceremony of its own: a substantial glass arriving after the pasta, ready for the table to work through together. It’s a fitting finish when you’ve chosen the restaurant for a more indulgent meal.
We’d make this the last order of the evening. After the agnolotti and lasagna, one dessert between two people keeps the dinner feeling complete and gives you something else to agree on before the bill arrives.

Give the meal its own evening
Evelia is at Campos Salles 1712 in Núñez. Book through the restaurant’s reservation page, check the current menu, and budget for a more expensive outing than a casual neighborhood pasta lunch. The quality is why we recommend making that allowance here.
For a different pasta dinner, Il Bruno in Caballito pairs creamy sorrentinos with pizza bread and tiramisu. Evelia also appears in our five-place pasta and pizza guide, if you’re choosing where the next meal should take you.
Save Evelia in Plateback with the agnolotti, lasagna and shared dessert. After dinner, add your own photos and the main course you’d return for first.
